Dear Mr. Teelucksingh,

I am writing to express my satisfaction doing business with Lone Star Air Systems, and especially with your technician Douglas R.

I live in a Meritage home, which your company installed a Carrier heat pump system about 2-1/2 years ago. Last night, with no cooling, I discovered the outside unit had ice inside. I called your company around 8:30 this morning, and a very helpful lady said she could have a service tech out today, between 12-5.

Douglas R arrived at 1:00 and determined the blower motor had suffered an early death. He told me he could install a new motor tomorrow, if one was in stock. If not, it could be 2-3 more days, depending on shipping.

Without any pressure, he also explained he could roll the cost of the trip charge into a maintenance agreement, which would also give me a 10% discount on the labor to install the new motor, as well as a check up now, and again in the late fall, for not much more than the cost of the repair.That ended up being the first time in 67 years, I’ve purchased a maintenance agreement on anything.

Having missed a call from the lady in your office, imagine my surprise when Douglas was at my door at 6pm this evening! He said, the motor was in stock, and knew how miserable it would be trying to sleep thru the heat tonight. What outstanding service. A terrific employee, who went far above and beyond what I expected! My kudos to him and your company.
